About Us

Tyger Hills Guest House was established in June 2001 by Martin & Henriëtte. We have strived to create a welcoming environment with all the amenities and conveniences of your own home.

As an owner managed 3-star graded establishment you can expect very good quality in the overall standard of facilities, furnishings, service and guest care. This is the reason why our guests refer to Tyger Hills Guest House as "A Place called Home."

We have a passion for the tourism industry and this is reflected in Martin's involvement with several associations.  He was appointed as the Western Cape Councillor of the National Accommodation Association of South Africa (NAA-SA) since 2018 and has been a member of the executive committee of Accommodation Cape Town North (ACTN) for several years.  We also strive to uphold Tyger Hills' standards and have been part of the Tourism Grading Council grading system since 2006.

Tyger Hills was the Western Cape winner of the Lilizela Tourism award 2018 in the 3-star Guest House category, as well as a Western Cape Finalist in 2019.   This accolade can be attributed to our team's commitment to our guests and the standard of our establishment.
